Textbook
Review Policy
If you are
an instructor and would like to review one of our publications for
possible course adoption, we will send the book to you and you will
have 30 days to determine if you will adopt it.*
Please inform us of your decision within the 30 day period. If we
are not notified of a book adoption before the 30 day period expires,
payment for the book will be deducted from your credit card. You
may elect one of the following:
1. If you choose to adopt the book for a course, and at least 10
copies are ordered, you may keep the copy sent to you to use as
your desk copy, free of charge.
2. If you choose not to adopt the book for your course, please return
the book in resalable condition. (If the book is returned damaged
or is not resalable you will be liable for the cost of the book.)
3. If you choose not to adopt the book but would like to keep the
copy for your own personal library, simply keep the book. Your credit
card will be charged at the end of your 30 day trial period and
your receipt will be mailed to you.
Please do not request a textbook review copy unless you agree to
this policy.
In order to request a review copy, fax or mail a letter on institutional
letterhead and include the following information:
" Name, phone number, and email address
" Educational institution's name and shipping address (all
review copy must be sent to the school's address)
" Course title and course number
" URL to a course description or outline
" Expected enrollment in the course
" Credit Card details: Type of Credit Card, Name (as it appears
on the card), Billing Address of the Card, Account #, Expiration
Date, and CVV # (3-4 digit # found on the back of your card)
*Sorry, we cannot send review copies of paperback editions or books
that are not suitable for classroom adoption.
